warrenty on torque... you having a laugh! normally you'll only find a guarentee to be free from defects at the point of sale wont you?

Joe, minisport did a 5 speed helical and limited the warranty. To 80ftb of torque. .... stated not suitable. For Turbo application. ... lmao

Thats pretty tempting with a few highways raising their speed limits to 80 around here, but if its only rated to 80ftlbs tq it then maybe not so much -1974 Mini 1000 - BRG Turbo Build Soon to come

The Japanese did one a few years back that put forest way out yonder, why? It's the gear you user the least and takes less punishment.

Quite a common gearbox in sport BMW's like the M3 and M5, they've had them in road cars since the mid 80's they only need first (forest?) for pulling away from standing. It's not the age that makes me creak it's the mileage |
