I'm not bothering, they weigh 5KG plus hoses and extra coolant. I am having a heated screen though. On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

I never had one in mine, a combination of a turbo sat in the bulkhead and a snugly fitting bucket seat ment it was allways warm even in the winter.

Why not one of these, lightweight and will be much better than no heater:

I'm going to bin my heater. It doesn't really do much now that the demisting stuff is gone.

Bin it, especially if you're not running carpets etc.. as the heat from the exhaust tunnel is more than enough..even when you don't want it! https://www.facebook.com/pages/Fusion-Fabri..._homepage_panel

I'd personally keep it unless your building a lightweight racer. I've probably used mine more as a secondary cooling system than a heater |

I'm keeping mine, they may be heavy but they're extremely efficient. In both heating yourself and cooling the engine. So I'm making the effort to fit it.

Those 12v heaters are completely focking useless, you genuinely get more hot air when you breathe out, dont waste £10.
