I bought a CF bike can, £30 of ebay. 2" bore, less than 2kgs. Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

Well I'm not sure how it would sound on a road car (my car is loud inside), and my installation is odd as it's in the boot. But from the outside it sounds good. It passes the 104db test for MSA events too, less than 100db.

I had a Playmini one as well but it ended up going back and they swapped for a one of titanium one they had lying around as a demo on the shelf as they had discontiunued the carbon one. They said they stopped making it as it was prone to blowing at the riveted joints where the carbon 'can' met the stainless end plates. Mine was blowing like fook when it went back after only a few miles! I had also melted the wadding in it apparently! |
