Hi All, just wondered what size exhaust is recommended for the MG turbo? I was planning on 1.75, but am considering going to 2in. Any advantage or disadvantages in this?
Also, with intercoolers, I take it that bigger is better, in terms of pipe and physical 'cooler size?
Any and all info gratefully received...

bigger is better when it comes to exhausts. But when it comes to intercoolers, to big will cause greater lag, but to be honest, as space is such an issue in a mini, I don't think your ever going to be able to squeze and intercooler in which is big enough to cause lag issues. There is a thread on here somehwere where turbodave explains what to look for when selecting an intercooler
