time has come for me to sell my mini but am unsure what price to ask for if anyone has any input would be appreciated. Main thing to keep in mind, the 998 has thrown a rod and is the reason for selling it as iv got absolutely no money to fix it.

Rear hi-lo’s fitted with new rubber cones (have front hi-lo’s but not fitted)
New heel board professionally fitted with new rear subframe and all new mounts
20 point adjustable Gaz shocks all round

Securon 4 point harnesses for driver and passenger (standard rear seat not fitted but own)
Steering column drop bracket
Mountney Leather Steering wheel (also have standard wheel and Alpha quick release D shape suede wheel)
Aluminium finish dashboard with standard 3 clocks
All sound deadening and rear carpet removed but still have
Alloy interior door handles
2 speakers in rear parcel shelf + 2 speakers fitted into dash instead of fresh air vents
CD player with IPod connection fitted into dash
Solid mounted Front subframe
Facet Electric Fuel Pump (not fitted)

Engine Spec:
998cc block pocketed
Morespeed “stage 3” 1275cc head
LCB exhaust manifold
Centre exit RC40 exhaust
HIF44 carb
K&N cone air filter
Flat top 998 pistons
Duplex timing chain
Straight cut drop gears
Lightened MED flywheel with new clutch fitted (done 350 miles)
276 fast road Kent cam (2k-7k rpm power band)
Standard 998 gearbox with 3.44 Final Drive
All ancillaries with it
Also have standard 1275 metro engine (minus ancillaries which were used with 998 engine)

(Its the yellow one in the picture)

As it's a non-runner, my first question would be, how much MOT left - it gives a good idea if it's really worth repairing.

If it has "thrown a rod", how much other internal damage ?

Beyond that, probably worth more broken and parts sold seperately.

Schrödinger's cat - so which one am I ???

King Gaycharger, butt plug dealer, Sheldon Cooper and a BAC but generally a niceish fella if you dont mind a northerner

Rotherham, South Yorkshire

Why not drop the 1275 in it? Would fetch far more like that.

£1500-£1700 tops

Sounds harsh but i dont see much of a market for minis at the moment, there almost a luxury second or weekend car these days.
