I have to replace the front panel on my 89 mini. Is it worth buying a later front mounted radiator model? Will this allow me to fit a front mounted radiator?

I believe you'll still have trouble clearing the distributor with the front-mounted radiator. Besides, you'll need new hoses, a new location for the oil cooler (or get the one MiniSpares developed for the tpi) and what not.

Others have used a normal panel, then fitted a Metro rad, but this sticks the grille out a bit, and it doesnt look nice...
