Is it A-Series only? I think it should be... So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'... On 26th Oct, 2004 Tom Fenton said:

Standard mini engine and box is 154kg. Wouldn't imagine there would be much difference. |

I have one sat in the corner, I'll have a go at picking it up and standing on the scales with it.

Just realised that I do not have the gearbox attached - Bollocks. so for what its worth the engine weighs about 65kg. Edited by minimole23 on 9th Jun, 2012. On 7th Oct, 2010 5haneJ said:

Minimole - Have you still got the clutch assy from your engine? Sorry I don't, the only reason it was removed from the bike was because the clutch failed and the bloke replaced the whole lot for a lower milage unit. I bought it as seized, turned out a screw had fallen into the cylinder during storage. A few marks to the piston/head but still perfectly usable. Bargain at £100 as I only wanted a spare casting. Just measured the housing where the flywheel looks like it should sit at at 8.5 inches diameter. Could be miles out though! Edited by minimole23 on 17th Jun, 2012. On 7th Oct, 2010 5haneJ said:

Right, I'm fed up with this engine sitting in the way, so gonna weigh it in. Is there anything from the bottom end that could be useful for anything mini related? On 7th Oct, 2010 5haneJ said:
