hi , iv had a search but couldnt find anything, pleas point me in the right direction if im being silly , im looking to replace the points with a new unit but cant find anything other than the mega jolt,

My car had a ebay kit i believe, i couldn't say for certain as it was on the car when I bought it, it looks like this one:

the whole dizzy ? i was looking for one of thoes little things where you take out the points and wack in a little box and it makes magic happen ? is that whats in a metro one? thankyou |

ahh thankyou mike thats the baddger, only thing now is how to tell what dizzy i have , will it be stamped on , or am i best snapping some picks and puting them up ? |

It will be stamped in the dizzy body. There's a guide to fitting these in this months mini mag. On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

there not hard to fit just un screw the old back plate and screw new one on. and they make loadz of difference but they can advance your timing by 10 degrees. heres a vid of how to fit http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mini-Metro-Elect...=item27b53e45ca Edited by wng691s clubby on 12th Jun, 2012.
