How many drive straps do you guys use?
Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

We had 3 on the van and it only slipped with a grey when we stuck 18psi through it, fine with a double grey for as much as we could throw at it (until the thrusts went...).

Cant see how three drive straps will allow the clutch to slip, unless you have not machined material from the lugs on the backplate, same amout as the extra strap. On 26th Oct, 2004 TurboDave16v said:

Ive got 2 straps and I need to have about 1.5 - 2mm of the lugs.
13.95 1/4 mile on a 2.95 fd. Carnt be that hard to beat! |

Iv'e decided that drive straps are for wanklers who drink one pint at a time, i'm gonig to weld the fucking lot solid, sod that clutch slip shite.
