Just spent 15 minutes on the phone giving spec for them to tell me they don't insure cars within my post code of PR1

Just looked and it seems to be because of these fake whip lash claims etc

Flux quoted £300 fully comp for 1500 road miles a year and agreed value of £5000 but I have had 2 mates saying £5000 isn't enough.

£10k at the very least.

If you had to buy your car, how much would you have to pay? remember, Rotten heaps now cost £3000!!!

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

1000 miles, and £180, shocking. My Sprint is £140 and 5,000 miles, which is over 5 x cheaper! Can't remember who I'm with though to be honest.

My guess is that upping th mileage to a more useable 3k (or more) would have made bugger all differance to the cost.

Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

£960 for me with Adrian flux, which for a turbo mini at 19 is very cheap.

Boom, just been quoted £90 by Lancaster but that is without my no claims protected. £140 with no claims protected though... lets hope they behave if anything goes wrong...
