I have an MPi engine on the deck fitted with a HIF44 and Megajolt. Engine is starting and running fine and I hope to fit in mini soon. I'm sure others have done this already but I can't find a megajolt ignition map for this and if possable the right needle based on a rolling road season.

Surely the map will just be the same as any other simalar spec 1275? As its no longer an MPI. BDL needle would be a good start as well.

I have started with the BDL Needle. The map I have loaded is for an SPi on carb. What I don't know yet is the spec of the MPi cam so I was just hoping that somebody else had done the donkey work on this and I would just have to download a map and swap needle.

Update. Removed turbo engine from mini for a rebuild and fitted MPi in the meantime.Car is running well and very impressed with megajolt. Just one issue before I bring it to a rolling road, the temperature gauge is at the red all the time wereas the turbo always ran normal . I am using the 2 core rad and expansion bottle from the turbo and even the sender unit. Using an infra red thermostate the head is reading about 95C .The Rover manual for the MPi says the electric fan switches on at 105C and off at 98C so should I be concerned?

Had the car out for a good run yesterday over 200 miles and gave it some welly. Tempiture holding steady at around 96 C. Took some head readings from several minis , small blocks run between 85-90C and MPI s run 95-100 C. Unfortunitly there weren't any carb 1275 to measure. I put 33ohm resister in series with the temp sender and that shows 95C as normal. Tried different maps and haven't setteled on on one yet. Is there anybody else out there running this set up on a road car?
