as above really whats the best tool to use to trim down carbon fibre?

Angle grinder and a metal cutting disc 1mm thin jobbies or a grinding disc :) Avon 2010 class c 3rd

Dremel with a cutting disc. That's what I use, and gives really clean, thin cuts. Wouldn't use anything else. This is FORD country, on a quiet day you can hear Vauxhalls rusting. |

ok sweet i was thinking nice sharp stanley knife and keep going over it lightly a few times till it cuts through completely..... |

I used a dremel with a cutting disc when I had to cut tons off my Curley dash. |

Its no wives tale, but you do need a split small enough. Either way when trimming up decent gloves, a decent mask and overalls are the way to go. Id even have a hoover on tap. My jigsaw has an attachment for it.
