Hello all, putting a turbo oil pump in an engine destined for a 24 hr race. i noticed the oil pump did not have the very small hole on the mating face near the drive shaft. (like the old spider drive pump) the hole i presume is to presurise the end cam bearing. is this right? i can drill the hole if needed. the engine is a converted auto block but it should not make a difference cause it has the spacer plate and is now like a regular manual block.
