Oh just to add I havent done any miles on the engine it's just been put togeather. |

What studs are these? There are some real cheap shit on the market at the moment being passed off as genuine. I snapped one of those torquing down too. On 26th Oct, 2004 TurboDave16v said:

for the price of a gasket i would not consider re-using it tbh unless its a proper budget build Yes i moved to the darkside |

You should re tighten head bolts when there cold not hot.. Main Build

Yeah I agree with that, I read an article on mini mania saying to re torque at operating temperature, then again the torque table on that website I used was saying to torque the head at 44ft pounds.
