Sorry to be a pain just a list of questions with bits I'm stuck on.

1. Is quickshift good or bad? (its a 50/50 thing so whats the jig?)

2. Can you remove all casting marks without weaking the gearbox/Block/other parts?

3. What four pin diff to buy? Med? Swiftune? Minispares? Minisport? all £165?

4. Oil filter housing? Mod or buy DSN? (Mod as in blank off the oil bypass in the filter head)

thanks
Stephen

1 - Down to personal preference really? KAD are the best ones with regards to ease of fitment, there are many copies but there do not always fit so simply

3 - Minispares seem to have the best rating, minisport appear to be less favourable

as above, I belive the ME, swftune, minspares diffs are all the same manufacurer, mini sport ones used to be dire, but i belive they have revised them, but I wouldnt buy anything from minisport.

for the filter housing, a std one modded is ok, but for the price i'd go for the dsn one, you get a braided hose, and a batter gasket mating surface.

Ive done it, and it works fine, tap it to 5/8 and put a bung in iirc,

one thing I would do though is fit a baraided hose, I dont like the look of that banjo bolt arangement.

Also if you are going to use the std filter housing, try to use the metro one that uses the long studs, it has more meat for the gasket to sit on.
