hi,
I have got a 998 a plus block bare apart from oil pump and core plugs the block is in good condition will require cleaning and honing before use i am 99% sure its standard bore was going to use it for a project i have lined up but have another engine now so its got to go £25 ono takes cash it, on collection from derby also can bring to gaydon or crich at the end of next month.

Sorry to tell you, but without the caps, it's worth its weight in scrap only.

Make a great door stop :) I do have a set of caps but don't they have to be rebored to match them up?

Yes, you need it line bored. And 998 block are so cheap you wouldn't bother as it's a costly job.

Thought so, Read about the med 4 bolt centre strap that needs to be inline bored to get it to sit same as old ones
