Essentially just take the big heavy cable that runs between the wing solenoid and inertia starter off its threaded lug and bolt it onto the other lug with the main incoming cable from the battery. thus battery live will now run right up to the lug on the pre-engaged starter.

Now make a suitable wire, of reasonable size (about main beam blue/white size or preferably alternator brown size), attach a large loop eye one end and fit on the now vacant stud on the wing solenoid and a large lucar connector the other end an attach to the large tag on the pre-engaged solenoid.

If you have ballast points ignition, the yellow black can stay on the wing solenoid or can be moved to the small tag on the pre-engaged, they both will now do the same thing.

If you are electronic or very early points ignition just ignore the small tag on the pre-engaged.

EDIT - just for clarity, when I say the large tag on the pre-engaged solenoid, that is the large, but independant tag next to the big stud. If there are any tags, large or small, on the stud itself, these will be from it's previous installation, aren't required, and can all be removed. Same with the small tag if ballast ignition is used, I mean the indepenadant one.
