Hi Guys,

I installed straight cut drop gears from Mini Spares about 5 000 mls ago.
After about 1000 mls the clutch startet hopping. So I startet to check and replace it again. I also pulled the primary gear and the engine side busching just started to wear. So i replaced it with a new one.

About 3000mls sometimes I had a loud screeming when clutch came in. At the beginning just sometimes and very short. A bit later it startet to occure only at medium warm oil and just in the moment the car started to move. Now i think, there must be something wrong! It´s still with medium warm oil, but it screems as long, as i use the Clutch. It also startet to screem on gearchange!

Please, what is wrong? Where i have to look?
Or is just my release bearing dead?

Thanks for help!
Enne

Release bearing?

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

It could be a small hamster that sneaked into the wok during re assembly, you must be squashing its tail when you press the clutch.

Or it's a release bearing?

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.
