I am in need off a fuelpump for around the 160 bhp mark.

Now i know that the 058464070 bosch pumps are ok.

This pump has fuel lines which connect with clips. I would like a pump with those same specs that connect to those fancy connectors that you can screw on.

anyone has an idea??

thanks

I'd say anything rated to 3bar will do everything you can throw at it.

Try demon tweeks, i had a quick glance earlier and look like they have the option of screw on or push on.

Whatever you buy, avoid the cheap "bosch" ones on ebay for around the £30-£40 mark. Had 3 out of 4 pack in that I've had in the past.

That's an injection pump. Are you using injection?

No, with a regulator that can control it. I've never stuck 45psi into a standard metro turbo reg, maybe someone has on here. You could save some money by using a pump for a turbo/carb car.

Lots of people use mpi pumps with fpr's. It's what i intend to do, that's an injection pump.

the problem is i want to use thos screw on fittings on the pump... This is the only one i could find with an output of 3 bar... with those fittings.
So it could also be used with the standard fpr in my opnion.

I can buy this pump(original bosch ) a lot cheaper ...
But i want to know for sure if it works....

Why do you need a 3bar pump for a carb?

A 1 bar pump isn't enough to run more than say 11psi boost. I want to run 17psi, And therefore an spi tank with mpi pump is the best option for me. The fuel pump needs to supply boost pressure + 3ish psi. It's probably much easier to get hold of a 3 bar pump than a 2 also for certain applications.

The Metro regulator can cope with a 3 bar pump.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

The regulators are spillback so, providing the return line is large enough, the pump will never run at 3bar (45psi), it will just flow 3.4 l/min through the regulator (most going back to the tank, not to the engine) with the pressure being whatever the regulator says (setting plus boost).

160HP requires, worst case, flat out all the time, approx 1.2 l/min so the pump is more than adequate.

This is what you want then:

It's actually a Walbro 255 with JIC connectors.
