Hi peeps.
I have a problem with where my gear remote sits inside my car. As you can see in the picture the handbrake is In the way of operating properly. My dash is the evo 2 from Curley and sits forward in the cabin more so than a standard dash. Any Ideas???? Do I relocate the handbrake??
Any help or ideas would be great.
Thanks

Here is a link to the photo. Hopefully this works!!

I have moved my gearstick further back than the standard position. I moved the handbrake further back using the standard mounts. I recut the floor and shortened the cable.

I have also shifted my handbrake back out of the way. If you shorten the quickshift i believe it will hit your dash.

Mine gets in the way a bit, but only when it is up. If it is down it does not cause a problem.

I have used an Allegro selector to move it back, but mine is still underneath.

This is what your post should look like to put pictures on TM, to do this you need to go to photo bucket, hold your mouse over the photo you wish to show, click the second option down, then go back to post reply in TM, select the icon on the right that I have circled in red, when box opens paste your image in, and it should look like the sample shown..
