hi finally bit the bullet and bought new flitch panels ,i see the door hinge side is spot welded , but what do i do with the other side ,leave a lip to spot weld onto or just butt weld the whole way down your input would be appreciated thanks give em hell |

I would but weld it. I'm interested to hear though as I have to do the same thing to my mates car once mine is done... On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

I would, and have a few times butt welded down the side. leave a lip to start, then bolt on the panel in the hinge holes, mark the remainder off car to trim back. |
