M-machine do the best pattern panel in my opinion. Some of their panels ive used are better than than the heritage stuff.

I tried a pattern wing... what a pile of crap. I offered up a genuine one and it dropped on a treat. I did however use pattern A-panels and door skins and they were fine

If you have never fitted Heritage door skins, then you will never know how shite others are. The differences are subtle but worth every penny of the price on the genuine skins, IMHO. That is not just me saying that but the chap thats working on mine at the moment was absolutely amazed in how well the genuine skins fitted over the non genuine

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

We've used at pattern front panel on a car, original wings, fitted absolutely perfectly, not a tiny bit of fettling needed!
Just welded straight up and fitted bob on first time. Nobody could believe it!

Edit:
See for yourselves...

The subtle difference in some cases is all in the weight, which is either a good or a bad thing depending on the perspective *happy*

You can tell the difference in quality of the panels material wise, theres no doubting that. I can tell the difference between my own panels yet to be fitted to my own car, and a Heritage top dash rail is thicker than the original, but still fits perfectly.

I also had a new front slam panel fitted (as in the picture above) which I obtained from Magnum and it seemed to fit quite well.

I plan to use herritage panels when the shell gets a refurb though, as I cant be arsed to piss about with potentially ill fitting panels. It may cost a bit more but i'm happier that the quality is of a higher standard.
