So my turbo is getting inn the way of my radiator. It won't fully come over the fan blades so te engine is getting a bit hot. It's an Austin mini 1969. I am planning on installing an electric fan on the wing t help extract some much unwanted heat.

Any suggestions. And any good rolling roads to finely tune my turbo in the brum area?
Cheers Anton

No amount of spacing or fans will help, a standard radiator is going to struggle to keep a turbo motor cool.

I think people have had success with The Minispares 2-core. Not?

Mine gets in the way a bit, but only when it is up. If it is down it does not cause a problem.

that looks to me like the rad is on the std bottom mounting with no top mounting and is pushed away by the massive turbo intake pipe

How is the top of the rad mounted? The fan looks too far from the rad.

it is attached via, a zip tie, and yea i agree with the fitting is an issue as well.. looking to purchase a air pipe to reroute the filter to the front right hand side of the engine with a one-ply silicone Samco Samflex Brake And Air Intake Ducting... just need to get the diameter? is it standard?

thanks for all the comments, and will possibly install the mini2-core radiator...

cheers anton

the top bracket has been removed, gonna out a new on, but there is no way of pushing back the radiator at this point, some things just in the way...

agreed, the rad is on the bottom bracket with no top, but dont know how to alievate the turbo intake pipe... rerouting but its at 63mm, and the intake i believe is only 57mm so it wouldnt make much of a difference

Sheffield South Yorkshire GB.

I think you need the air intake pipe to be the type with the metal coil spring embedded inside the silicon pipe to be able to stand all the knocking around that it gets when you route it between the radiator and bulk head.. Alan.
