you can swap the brake pedal over in your existing box although I recall some people have removed the actuator arm from the later pedal as another option

On the asumption that you are running a late model mastercylinder with the integrated servo, There is an actuator arm riveted to the pedal that comes up to connect to the servo. The rod on the tin can cylinder would replace this.

If you have a tandem cylinder at the moment, you can use your current box as is

the hole in the pedal arm is a lot biger on the later servo pedal box.

you will also have to replace the master cylinder bracket on the crossmember with an earliear one as the hole in that is smaller lol

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

It's not clear what you have already.

do you have the late servo/ pedal box assembly? or just the upright tandem master cylinder without servo?

Its the late servo/ pedal box that will give you troubles, but any earlier pedal box with any upright master cylinder will be fine with what you intend to do.
