Alright,I have been testing and adjusting my own megajolt map lately, and now I would like to hear some experts' opinions here on the forum about my map.

It is a quite decent 1380cc Mini with HIF44 carb, compression of 10.6:1, piper 285 cam, final drive of 3.44 and 10" wheels.

Could you please tell me what I should change to squeeze even more power out of the engine?

Any help is appreciated,

Cheers

that looks decent enough,

I think a bit more advance at cruise would help

the best thing would be to get it on a rolling road.

Thanks, do you mean the values between the load from 70 to 90? Sorry for my lack of knowledge on this field :)

from experience NA five port engines usually like 32 to 34 degrees at full load from about 3000rpm

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

load of around 50-75 at 2000 to 4000 rpm.

basically the points you will see at a constant speeds between about 40 to 60 mph.

dont go nuts though, maybe 2-3 degree's and keep an ear open for pinking

Alright, thanks for the help guys. I'll try to finalise my map tomorrow then; hopefully I'll notice a (positive) difference.

I'm with Sprox, looks a little retarded at wot.

Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

be carefull adding in advance at WOT though,
I'd advise that you double check the Megajolt is actually saying the same as a timing light just to be sure, and I'd leve the final couple of degrees for on the rollers.

That makes my map look very conservative. I'm currently running max 28 degrees advance.

Just as well I'm booked into the rolling road in 2 weeks time.
