how do you work out what size fuse to use? Done now needs redoing lol |

it is based on the current rating of the wire. Fuses protect the upstream wire not the down stream consumer.

well i need to fit in line fuses for all my gauges and megajolt i just dont want to start it up for the first time and it set on fire lol i wouldnt be impressed Done now needs redoing lol |

Well MJ and gauges use nothing really. If the wire you are using is 1mm sq then I would suggest a 10A fuse.

I've got 3s and 5s for most circuits on my car, only stuff like the head lights and ECU etc that have bigger. On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

my wires are way over rated tbh, all i have done is switch everything on and went down the fuse box with an ammeter the fuse that went in the slot is the next one over what ever current it draws Yes i moved to the darkside |
