Upgrading my MJV3 to a V4 with the new engine, and with the one i bought it came with a hard cut rev limiter.

It didnt however come with the instructions on how to fit it, and i think i'm missing a transistor.

So i have this on the Hard Limiter board:

And this on the main board:

I'm assuming i just link 3 of them together, the GND to GND, COIL to COIL_PWR + and TRIG to AL_TRIG

SO where does the +12V go? And what value transistor do i need for the Limiter board?

Thanks

that transistor looks to only be required if the surface mount transistor sharing its pins isnt man-enough. I could be wrong as have know working knowledge of the mega jolt setup but thats what it looks like to me.

turbo 16v k-series 11.9@118.9 :)

cheers, just found the search bar on the autosport labs website and I think I've got it.

The big transistor isn't needed, and is only used on home built kits to make it easier. The small one attached to my board is the right one.

I'll put up a few pictures of it completed so if people find this through a search it'll be here
