Hey guys I got given this Carb its a HIF38

can it be used on a turbo 998?










Seeing the pictures of the turbo carb explained my carb looks like it from the side just wanna be sure if it will be fine to use?

You can essentially use any SU for turbo use, the biggest sticking point of using the 38 is that there is no plenum that fits it.

You could make one, but it'll be a lot easier to just use a 44, they work fine on 998s.

yep as will says, the hif38 even has a part throttle lean off pipe that other N/A carbs lack

Oh right okay thanks guys Ill see if my mate still has a 44 body sat around then use the bits off this carb to build that one up. I just thought the 38 would be better for the 998 but thanks alot guys
