if this switches off the fuel pump when oil pressure is lost, how u supposed to start the car lol Edited by Mike on 27th May, 2005.

If you look at the wiring diagram for the std metro turbo it achieves this as standard anyway using a 5 pin changeover relay.

that's pretty clever. I wish VWs did that, as i killed my old 16v last year by the oil pump dying.. |

y the squirt can control the fuel pump, not sure if it can via oil pressure tho.

i had one of these on my car it worked well

i'm thinking of adding an inertia switch, the engine 'could' still run after a crash with fuel still pissing everywhere.

you can get inertia switchs from any csrap yard and cut off the plug with a couple of inches of wire to. no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.
