can some one give me some quick help on a non mini related topic, my daily runabout, a 96 escort for some reason the stearing wheel wasnt street, the tyres had worn on the inside, so just got the tracking done and some new tyres, the steering wheel is still not straight and its over the other side this time.... ? |

Not sure if this helps, but I got some new tyres on my golf, got the wheels balanced and it pulled to the left. Took it back, they swapped the front side for side and all was ok again.

take it back to where you got the tracking done, and tell them todo it again, they should always make sure the steering wheel is straight before starting, but they don't always bother On 15th May, 2009 TurboDave said:

Either take it back, or just remove the steering wheel and set it straight if you are confident they have tracked it correctly.

hmmm i would but its the wifes car and im not aloud to tinker with it, she rang me up earlier crying, i thought " shit whats happen to the kiddy" or "shes crashed and been in an accident"

WTF just drove my car after the tracking was done, its fucked ! bouncing all over the road when accelerating or when taking my foot off the accelerator, also under braking, it pull really sharp all over the road what the hell have they done ? |

I did read somewhere about having the tracking done with driver sat in car,also check the bottom wishbones are ok as the joints wear quick

I get this if i run not enough toe-out. very very sharp turn in, and instibility at high speed as the steering is uber-sensitive. get it re-done. turbo 16v k-series 11.9@118.9 :)
