Hi guys,

getting round to replacing head gasket, and i'm document parts as they come of for cleaning etc.

the turbo has a few numbers of it, but I believe the turbo model is TB0234.

From what I can gather, this is a T2 derivative form a 405 TD or a BX TD.

Is it safe to use a diesel turbo? anything I need to be aware of? presumably its the same inlet flange as other T2's so could be swapped? Current its running at 10psi, but then i have just blown the HG.....

Any advice welcome however small - still new to this!

Thanks

Beb

Lots of debate about using diesel turbos, the upshot is, it's not a problem.

No idea about you actual turbo though.

Thanks Wil,

Thats a start at least! Would be a shame to have to change it straight away.
