Opinions please. I'm thinking it's a bit tight. It was made to my spec's and obviously wasn't that cheep...

Can you swap the banjo for a 20 deg one?

I would have to have another hose made as they are crimped on.

I've 'adjusted' the lower fitting slightly and that has taken the tension out of the hose.

I was going to say other than a 20 deg banjo or adjusting the lower pipe, there isn't much else you can do. Since those parts do not move, you should be ok. Although, it can be hard to tell from just a picture.

Carnt u get a wee tweek on the bottom stainless pipe just to help it out?

Personally I'd be really pissed off, but probably shell out another £20 to get a longer one that would loop round a bit.

The only other thing I can see is to move it over by removing the clutch hose bracket.

I've bent the bottom fitting a bit and it's a fair bit better. Not under tension now.

Can't move the bias thingy as it's rivnuted in and I don't want to start drilling into the nice shiny metal...

I will probably get another made up at some point, cash to finish it is getting tight now. These where an extravagance, but I didn't want a load of wanky bent copper spoiling the engine bay.

Or you could find/make a male to female adapter. Obviously the male end will screw into adjuster and the hose screw into the female end. That should lengthen it by 10-20mm.

That will break! Why not run the hose in a loop upwards from the MC? ( A longer one obviously.)

Andy, I have some Kunifer i might also have some ends if you want as a temp fit until you can get a new hose?

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.
VEMS + 12 PSI + Liquid Intercooler = Small Bore FUN!

I will get another one, but for now it is low on the priority list.

Money needs to be spent on more important things, like replacing the rod with the funny shaped big end so I can get the engine built...

Andy, cant you just get a little bit of "adjustment" on the plain section next to the banjo, just to ease the apparent twist/kink ?.

I'm going to give that a try. Tried with it on the car last night and nearly pushed the car of the stands.

Will put it in the vice later on and try not to ruin it...
