Hey guys

Been lurking around in the dark for a while and decided to join the forum for some great info and help.

I have a 197* clubby which I am planning to supercharge.

Cheers

Hey

Well it will be blow through as going the other route just has to many maybe's for me. I know it works but that is just how I am.

So plan is 1360, HIF7, megajolt, with a SC12 running an IC.

Cam is still debateable as I do not know what to start looking for. I take it stock won't do the job.

I wanted to go you route Andy, but getting superchargers locally made selection very limited. I wanted something that if this one breaks I can replace it with minimal work.

I think blow through with an intercooler will be the best route.

And I am getting the charger and megajolt this weekend.

Just have to start cracking on the motor as it is in pieces at the moment with a broken crank.

If you are on kzn a bit more you could have caught it. it was for sale on there for months. got it for 1700 bucks(not pounds guys our currency is worth shit so its accually cheap) got trigger wheel, pickup, edis the whole lot.

So I will play around with mapping and will help you once I have gone through a few motors. hehe

Just got hold of a bunch of old photos agian of my car back in my hayday of autocross/gymkhana/auto test, what ever you like to call it.

So it is a bit of a history of the car.

Car started life out as a 1100 Clubman, then somewhere in the 80's someone fitted a 1275E motor. I got the car and it had 10" chrome wheels and brown interiour.

I fitted 13's with Cooper S brakes as a student and some arches and she looked like this.

Then someone stole two of my wheels and I got new ones, she looked like this:

I had a few sets of wheels, for racing. Here I had 3 deg neg camber bottom arms, thing cornered like it was on rails but was a dog to drive on the road.

The car made 53 kw and 103 nm at the crank. (don't feel like converting to imperial now.)

That was with a 1330, 276 cam, and stage 1 kit.
