Hi all,

Im looking for a whole load of photos of the intake side of the conversion in situ, with the throttle bodies on and off. I'm trying to asses the clearance and also the relationship between the throttles and the slam pannel.. i.e. if you were to extrude the barrels of the throttles car forward, would they pass over the slam pannel, or hit it, and by how much..

If anyone has one half put together and in situ, and has time to make some section templates, scan, and send them, I'd happily send some beer tokens for you help :)

Regards, Dan

These pics may help. These were some carbs I was going to use with some trumpets made up for the plenum. They should just clear the slam panel from what I remember

Found some more pics, looks like you'll have to mdoify the slam panel or have them very slightly angled up.

I like the idea of removing the slam panel, that way you get another inch or so of clearance, if nothing else a handy weight saving!

I'm wondering whether a plenum could be included with the standard bmw throttle bodies, with a bit of CAD (Carbon Aided Design)
