I'm after some comfy heated seats to fit into my defender.

I found them comfy, they probably weigh a bit though!

I have a 2002 95 Aero. The seats are the best bit (well the engine is pretty good too), really good on long journeys and lovely on a cold morning. http://www.twin-turbo.co.uk

Nice idea, please whack some pics in the thread as I will plaigarise this idea if it works, mine are passed their best and as it takes ages for the heater to wake up!

a little off topic but I recall an article many years ago regarding sick leave in the traffic devision of a particular police force due to back pain. This was compared with another force that had literally no issues. The differance was that the force with all the problems generally had a fleet of vauxhalls whereas the other force were using Saabs. A bit of research found that Saab put a hell of an effort into seat and posture developement at the time (shows the likley age of the article as it was probably before GM took control).

Richard had saab seats in his mini van, so they can't be too difficult to squeeze in other cars. On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:
