hi all im looking to fit a rear beam to my mini and was looking at a tdk beam,however ive been advised althought its a very solid beam not to fit one as they are not drilled and ready to fit ,and also that they need some parts welding b4 use ?, surely this cant be right is it /? anyone got any experience with these tdk beams thanks give em hell |

yes just done so mate and he explained the whole installation ,as they do not bolt onto the standard subframe points,for obvious reasons ,rot, etc stress give em hell |

The first and only TDK i have seen came without handbrake cable guides. And consequently wasn't used and a new fabricated up in it's favour. Edited by Carlzilla on 31st Aug, 2012. On 26th Jan, 2012 Tom Fenton said:

+1 for a force beam, I had a Huddersfield mini one, fit was ok but needed work/looked very flexi ect so got a force steel one. Carl is the man! |
