Any easy suggestions other than a little bit at a time?

I seriously doubt it!

Hypothetically speaking, where would you stick your nozzle?

you could use a jigsaw, but if you use a router youd get a neater, more accurate job

Cutting isnt the issue, its where to cut to get a nice tight fit

I seriously doubt it!

Can you make a cardboard template, then use that as a guide to mark out on the worktop?

And no template? What a bastard! For the top I'd flip the basin over to draw around and measure in from all sides and then make a template for the front.

That was my initial thought Matty but I have no reference how far out from the wall for the front panel and how high for the top.
I think its the best idea though

I seriously doubt it!

I made a card template, and tried it in the box the unit came in to make sure its a nice fit.

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

You may be able to download a cad plan from the manufacturer you could get an accurate template to work from
