Please forgive the newbie tech!

Obviously I can't clamp my braided lines, but is there something I can get to screw in / plug the lines after disconnection? I have Cooper S callipers, just in case there are varying threads...

Cheers :)

I made two of these to screw on to male fitting, you can weld the pipe end like I did or flatten and bend the end overand flatten again, hope this helps.. Alan

For the female fittings i bought a handful of short 3/8"unf screws and just used those to plug the holes. for the male fittings, I had some rubber caps/ bungs

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

If you put a bry bar or large screwdriver holding the brake pedal down it will stop fluid escaping.

Correct.

The pedal just needs to move enough so the seals in the master have past the reservoir hole and the system becomes sealed. No fluid will escape due to the small bore pipe.
It's just like blocking the end of a straw with the contents inside.

No problem glad to have helped. Its how we do it at work when we replace brake pipes.
