I'm sorry mate, but you've got to start using commas and full stops. Maybe even a Capital letter every once in a while :)

crack on!! .. and thank yourself ucky you have a garage :)

Dont worry about it tho, i loose motivation with teh mini all the time, took breaks of a month at a time while i was building the valver. if you force yourself to work you will get fed up! Remember minis are a hobby *tongue* your sposed to enjoy it, so only work when you feel like it *happy*

Also set yourself reasonable targets, dont say "im guna have the engine in and running perfect" say something like " im guna get the fuel system hooked up" .. b4 u know it ul have picked away at the wee jobs and itl be done :)

turbo 16v k-series 11.9@118.9 :)

Don't know if they still do them, but I was pretty impressed with an 'all in' plastic tool chest from Halfords I bought for my father 12 months ago... Had TONS of sockets, both short and long reach, Allen keys, even a ball-pein hammer. Think it was £60 or somet like.

Some tools weren't too great admittedly, but for a man who has nothing - or as a spare for the boot of the car - it was an absolute bargain IMO!

wow thanks for all the replies will send PMs in a sec:)

stuff i have left to do, roughly is..

fit wheel bearings.
fit brakes (still need a few more bits)
fit fuel lines/pump and reg
fit new clutch hose (small job but i can not for the life of me move the bolt!!)

think thats the bulk of it, i decided that becouse its int he garage and i cant move round it i should get it roaling first so i can roll it out when i want to work on it. but i have lost my hi-los! i will buy some more but i also have 4 new knuckle joints i have lost in the bag with them:(

thanks!, Dan

if i were you( and im doing this myself on sunday morning ) is sort your tools and garage out put every thing in stack boxes or on shelfs put your tools in a box or tub take any rubbish to the bin, tip, sweep up.

p.s anything you dont need try to stash them in your house out of the way to get extra room, not easy i know but worth the arguments with family.

then when you stop falling over everything an you can find stuff it will make the job tonnes easier.*smiley*

and if it gets on your boobies leave it and have a break.

good luck

no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.
