Hi guys,

Bit random but does anyone know what turbo spec these use to run. I know they were T3's but were they modified at all?.

The regs are available if you do a search for mg metro challenge cup.

A quick look suggests a standard or str unit. Some minor alts are allowed to the manifold

The challenge cars run a stock t3, they only run about 8psi anyway.

Aren't they using a bigger exhaust housing? RS Turbo?

I think they are allowed to run the 0,35 turbine because the 0.25 is NLA

Just a query, would there be any point in upgrading to this spec on a road car, hopefully running 18psi plus?
