As above do all rocker covers clear or only some?
I'm after fitting a mk1 cooper s rocker cover to my engine to go with a classic look. I've got 1.5 rockers at the minute but been advised to switch o 1.3's.
Anyone any experience with this. Cheers
Matt

I have only had problems with the slanted mg metro ones clearing roller rockers, standard shape one should be fine.

Right where do i start!

Standard pressed steel one will. I had to grind the back out my mg rocker cover for it to clear.

I've already got loads of rocker covers. Just like the old style with the breather

Sorry to open this thread up again, so reading from here, if I am running 1.5 rockers, the slanted Mg Rocker Cover will not fit?

It will if you give it a good grinding to the rear!

Try it on though, you might be lucky. Just make sure it can't catch.
