as the question says, ive heard that turbo motors are quite low reving before out of puff. but i just wondered what is needed to build something with a good long rev range.

thanks

Andy

also AVR sell 2 phase 2 cams one billet one reprofile. am i right in thinking the reprofile is just a standard cam built up and then re-profiled in phase 2 lobe spec, if so whats wrong with that as its £110 cheeper.

Thanks

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

in short! a well ported head and race valves, etc .... a 998 engine and say a MG n/a cam timed in a little late. maybe a T3 turbo to give it some legs....... the combinations are endless!!!!!

the diffrence of the phase 2 cams are one is reprofiled from any old doner cam and ones made from a billet peice of steel and ground 100% accurate ...

An engine and turbo makes a good starting point, and big balls.

turbo choice is critical here,

yiu wan somthing big and efficient, that will maximize boost vs turbine pressure, as with a long cam turbine presure will kill the power from pumping loses on a small turbo.

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

yeah, rev limit 9200rpm iirc.

It is because of the don that for my next engine I will be going for a force racing prepped a plus crank. If the don ain't bust it I doubt I will!
