Chaps,

I trust you all had a good bank holiday weekend and enjoyed the sun and beer?!

As you will know from reading my posts, my bro recently bought a pace charge cooler, and it has a sensor in it, in the actual air/water exchanger in the air side (if you get my drift?!). It looks to me as if its a temp sensor.

Where can you get or what can be used as a temp gauge for the sensor?

Does anybody use air temp sensors?

Cheers

*smiley*

bad guy: What's the easy way?
Hannibal: That WAS the easy way.

Air use an air temp sensor, but my ecu has analogue inputs for oil, air and water temp sensor, you should be able to use a volt meter to record the resistance and work the temp out that way.

trying use a cheap temp gauge from maplins or the like and calibrate it via some boiling water and ice. give you a reasonable idea of how far out it is.

I've got something very simular to one of those also. I plan to use it to record oil temp before and after turbo, oil cooler, sump ect. Iain, if you get any spare thermocouples, let me know *wink*
