Just been reading the thread on Paul's CNC conversion as I am sort of dipping my toes into similar waters.

I have upgraded from a windows pc to an iMac because I want to start designing proper rather than suffering another second with power point (don't laugh). Can anyone suggest a good design program for the mac that can also communicate with CNC machines or generate the appropriate coordinates for a CNC mill or lathe
