Easier to go pre-engaged and change your starter setup?

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

You would buy one of those frome somewhere that can't even host a decent picture of their own product rather than that squashed ebay pixel?

Edit* Nevermind the fact that the description doesn't match the picture.

Edit** and they are more expensive than the MED one.

MED will fit whatever ring gear you ask for.

MED website says Pre engaged only, but shows the ring bolted on. Can't be that hard to change...

when I bought mine they said there would be a wait for one with the intertia ring so I said send it without the ring on and I'd fit it,

it turned up two days later with the ring fitted!

and you should have replied, because I don't want to have to spend £180 on another hi torque starter with the right number of teeth, when i can buy a ring gear at a 1/4 of the price with the right number of teeth

yer sorted with a med one now after a fassion but they came through in the end.

reason i cant use a pre- engaged is my inter cooler fits nicely in the grill now with the inerta starter however it wouldn't fit atall with the other starter and i also as joe said i dont have 180 for a high torque starter lol

As a matter of course I would balance a flywheel (preferably the entire rotating assembly)

Just bumping this back up to the top, what kind of light weight verto's are people running with RTS set-ups?

The minispares one is cheapest as it's on sale at £120, but if it's no good them MED it is!
