I am looking to make an adaptor for a Rover MPi MAP sensor to use with Megasquirt.
The Megasquirt I am using is actually a Microsquirt and needs an external MAP sensor.
I know there are probably easier ways to do this, but... I have several of the MPi sensors already. And it seemed an easy method at first.

I bought some of these for the various carbs I might use

I thought I could just take one of the extra brass adaptors and thread it into a small aluminum block to make the adaptor for the Rover sensor:

as it has about a 10 mm male part that fits into the MPi intake.

The probem I have run into is that these brass adaptors use a 2BA thread and there is no close match metric or SAE. It is close to 10/32, but is loose and will leak if I drill and tap a 10/32 hole.

Anyone have a source for other threaded vacuum adaptors besides:

Yes any of those might do with the right size. I will just have look for something other than automotive applications. The ones from speedograph do have a restrictor, but that may not be necessary.
Also trying to figure out if I need a fuel trap in the line.

I guess what I need is a smaller version of this:

or this:

or just the fittings. I was looking for something smaller but 1/8 NPT should work for me if it works for these.

I may be missing something here. But is that MAP sensor not intended to be mounted direct to the inlet manifold somewhere? And if so surely it would be easier to have a flat area milled onto the inlet and then drill/tap a couple of holes to bolt it on?

Either there is method to my madness or just madness in my methods.

This is a development engine for me to learn about MS and AFRs etc. It is an MPi block and I wanted to try multiple carb setups, single and twin. So I thought that using the spacers with the vacuum ports would let me make manifold swaps until I throw the Rover FI setup on. I thought that the vacuum manfold like adapter would let me eventually let me mount the MAP out of the way some where.

I think some tubing and a reducer will let me get started playing without over engineering the setup at first.
