Which is better suited? I already have the S-setup installed, with good discs, but am not adverse to

I've got the minispares alu callipers. They use the same pads whether it's 7.5" or 8.4" disks. I went for 7.5" disks as I needed new disks and flanges so got ones that matched the callipers. On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

Turned down 8.4's with the normal drive flange (non S type). Otherwise you'll need spacers on the calipers to move them further in towards the car.

The callipers come with the spacer though... On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

Not sure, but I think you might need spacers and longer bolts to use s discs.

The wheel track is the same Dave although as pointed out above the disc is in a slightly different position, about 1/2" each side iirc, and there are spacers supplied with the callipers to suit either.

Thanks for the info Paul - I may as well stick with what is currently fitted, and sell the S calipers alone.
