I've done a search but can't find any info, could someone tell me what is the difference between normal and a group A spec block? Is it just mods or stronger material ? Thanks for the help

Tony

piston oil squirters, recessed deck for the special "double firing ring" head gasket, is the main points, and depending on if you feel like it - a 4 bolt main, and all manner of other blueprinting like would be applied to any race engine.

It should also be mentioned that the group a head gasket is no longer available, so don't modify your block until you have found someone to make you a gasket

Dave's covered the main points here & as Jim said the gaskets are NLA. I have 3 Group A spec blocks, luckily I now have a small stockpile of gaskets to.
