Australia oi oi oi!

My hazards work but my indicator stalk seems to
Be dropping in and out? When turning left or right

Finally now nothing.

I sprayed a heap of contact
Cleaner in there incase and it made the click sound once
To the flasher then nothing.

hazzards work dash lights work

Any ideas? Is there a contact that wears inside the stalk?
it's a rover stalk.maybe i m up for a new one?

you get 12v supplied to the stalk, this gets split between left and right indicators, then off to either side of the hazard switch, which then sends it of to the lights with a flasher in line somewhere. time to get your multimeter out and see what gets power and when. Sounds like either the hazard switch or the stalk at fault.

Are you sure?

I thought the +ve feed was to the hazard switch first. Then via the flasher unit to the stalk.

When the hazard switch is in the 'off' position it connects the bottom two pins feeding the stalk. When it is switched to the 'on' position, it disconnects the two bottom pins and connects the other 4 pins feeding the 4 corners at the same time.

So the problem could also be a faulty hazard switch.
