while i've got my engine apart i was wondering if i'd gain much power by doing a cam swap?

i'm running an avonbar phase 2 at the minute, but have got a couple of MG metro cams kicking about. would i get any power gains from the MG cam?

I've got no problems with the phase 2, its fine driving around etc. just after ways of getting some power/torque on the cheap while me engines apart without winding any more boost in.

If it's in a 1275 or bigger stick with the phase 2 IMO.

The advantage of the MG cam is better low down pick up, so if you have no problem there why change

ah right, cool i'll stick with the phase 2 then. i'm running a 1293, it drives lovely off boost. was just wondering if the MG was any better as i'd seen a few people mention it thats all. :)

Cheers, Nick.
